HONORARY DUCT TAPE MAN FOR A DAY

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. MUST BE A LEGAL RESIDENT OF UNITED STATES, 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. VOID IN ALASKA, HAWAII, PUERTO RICO, AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

TIMING. The Honorary Duct Tape Man for a Day Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins on February 20,2005 at 12:01:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on August 31, 2005 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET (“Promotional Period”). A drawing will be held on or about Sept. 13, 2005. Entries must be received during the Promotional Period to be eligible.

ELIGIBILITY. The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States including the District of Columbia but excluding Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers and directors of Henkel Consumer Adhesives, Inc., Lowe’s Home Improvement, Jeff Gordon Inc., Hendrick Motorsports, Jimmie Johnson, SVG Inc., NASCAR, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, sales representatives, advertising and promotional agencies and the immediate families (parents, siblings, children, and spouse) and household members of each, whether related or not, are not eligible to participate. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time. All federal, state and local laws apply.

AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES. Participation in The Sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and all decisions of Sponsor.

HOW TO ENTER.

Online Entry: LIMIT One (1) Entry per household address or email address per day. To enter visit www.ducktapeclub.com/48 and complete and submit the brief online survey. Access the Sweepstakes entry survey, and complete all the required information, including your first name, last name, complete mailing address email address (where applicable), telephone number and date of birth (“Entry Information”). To be eligible, survey questions and all required Entry Information must be completed in full. Transmit Entry Information by clicking on the “Submit ” button (“Entry”) at the end of the Survey. Upon submitting the required information, Entrant will be given one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Entries by the same person or email address in excess of the limits stated herein will be disqualified. Entries must be received during the Promotional Period to be eligible.

Proof of submitting an entry will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Every online submission must be manually key stroked and manually entered by the individual participant and repetitive automated electronic submission of entries (including but not limited to entries submitted using any bot, script, macro, or sweepstakes service) is specifically disallowed. In the event that Entrant’s contact information changes during the Sweepstakes Period, it is Entrant’s responsibility to notify Sponsor of such change. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an online Entrant, entries made online will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. Potential Winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder for that email address. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person assigned to an email address by an Internet service provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain.

Mail Entry: LIMIT: One (1) entry per person per household. To enter by mail, hand print your name, complete address (with zip code), date of birth and email address (if applicable) on a 3” x 5” card (No address labels, or computer generated information will be accepted) and mail in a business size envelope to: Honorary Duct Tape Man For a Day, P.O. Box 1254, Ronks PA 17573. Mail-in entries must be postmarked on or before August 31, 2005 to be eligible for this promotion. No copies or mechanical reproductions of entries will be accepted.

Any attempted form of entry other than as described herein is void. Neither the Sponsor (Henkel Consumer Adhesives) nor any of its agencies is responsible for lost, late, damaged, delayed, destroyed, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or postage due entries; or any other error whether human, mechanical or electronic. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any Entrant it finds to be tampering with the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation with these Official Rules. Once submitted, entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.

DRAWING. Potential Winners will be selected from all eligible Entries received in a random drawing on September 13, 2005. Drawing will be conducted by The Jay Group, an independent third party agent. Winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements of these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions as to the administration of the Sweepstakes and prize awards are final and binding in all respects. Winner will be notified by mail. Potential Winners will be required to sign, execute, have notarized and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Liability and Publicity Release via pre-paid express delivery courier within Fourteen (14) days of receipt of those documents or Potential Winner may be disqualified and the Prize may be forfeited. By returning the completed Affidavit/Release, Potential Winner attests to the authenticity of his/her winning Entry. In the event that any Prize notification is undeliverable, Sponsor is unable to contact a Potential Winner, or response to a Prize notification is not received within Fourteen (14) days of its issuance, the Prize may be forfeited. If the Prize is forfeited, an Alternate Winner will be chosen at random from the remaining eligible Entries. Drawings will continue until the Prize has been awarded.

PRIZE/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV)/ODDS OF WINNING.
Grand Prize: One (1). Grand Prize trip for two (2) to Charlotte, NC for a professional stock car race scheduled to be held on October 15, 2005 [pending NASCAR schedule, dates may very] Trip consist of: (1) round trip coach air transportation for Winner and one guest traveling together from a major airport near winner’s residence to Charlotte, NC; (2) two tickets to the professional stock car race scheduled to be held on October 15, 2005 at the Lowe’s Motor Speedway; (3) accommodation in one standard double occupancy hotel room at the hotel of Sponsor’s choosing in Charlotte, NC for three nights beginning October 12, 2005; (4) $1,000 cash; and (5) 2 race day shirts(6) one case of 200MPH Duck Tape. Approx. Retail Value (APR) $5,000.00. Actual value may vary based on timing and point of departure. If the #48 Lowe’s Home Improvement Team qualifies for the race and obtains all necessary licenses, permits or other authorizations, potential Winner may have the opportunity to be the “Honorary Duct Tape Man/Woman For a Day” for the #48 Lowe’s Home Improvement Team.

Grand Prize Winner and Guest must travel on the same itinerary. WINNER AND GUEST MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO EVENT LOCATION AND ATTEND EVENT ON THE DATES STATED, OCTOBER 12, 2005 TO OCTOBER 15, 2005. NO ALTERNATIVE DATES ARE AVAILABLE. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for cancelled, delayed, suspended or rescheduled events beyond its control. All expenses not specifically mentioned herein (including, but not limited to, ground transportation to airport or hotel and between hotel and event site, parking, meals, beverages, tips, mini-bar services, taxes, insurance and incidentals, etc.) are solely the responsibility of the winner and winner’s guest. If winner’s guest is a minor, winner must be minor’s parent or legal guardian, must sign and return release on minor’s behalf, and must accompany minor at all times (including during hotel stay and game event).

One (1) Second Place Prize Package: To consist of $500 Lowe’s Gift Card, a Jimmie Johnson autographed Team Lowe’s Racing Hat, Jimmie Johnson autographed 1:24 Scale Die cast Car, Duck Gear Logo Windbreaker, and a Year supply of Duck brand duct tape. Approx. Retail Value (ARV) $935.00

One (1) Third Place Prize Package: To consist of $100 Lowe’s Gift Card, a Jimmie Johnson autographed Team Lowe’s Racing Hat, Jimmie Johnson autographed 1:24 Scale Die cast Car, Duck Gear Logo Windbreaker, and a Year supply of Duck brand duct tape. Approx. Retail Value (ARV) $535.00

Ten (10) Runner-up Prize Packages: To consist of a Jimmie Johnson autographed Team Lowe’s Racing Hat, Jimmie Johnson autographed 8 X 10 photograph, Duck Gear t-shirt, and a case of Duck brand duct tape. Approx. Retail Value (ARV) $155.00

Total Prize Value: $7780.00. Odds of winning any prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Taxes on prize are the sole responsibility of the winner; if applicable, winner may receive an IRS Form 1099 for the retail value of the prize. Prize is non transferable. No prize substitution allowed except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, or as provided herein.

GENERAL. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes should fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor impair the integrity of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes from the eligible submissions received up to the time of impairment. Except where prohibited, by accepting prize, winner consents to the use of his/her name, address (city & state) photo and/or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes, without limitation and without additional compensation. By entering, entrant acknowledges that attending a stock car race involves potentially dangerous and stressful activity. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE PROMOTION OR ACCEPTING A PRIZE, WINNER AGREES TO RELEASE SPONSOR HENKEL CONSUMER ADHESIVES, LOWE’S HOME IMPROVEMENT, JEFF GORDON INC., HENDRICK MOTORSPORTS, JIMMIE JOHNSON, REDMOON MARKETING, NASCAR AND THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENTS, PARTNERS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, OFFICERS, AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, ADVERTISING AGENCIES AND ALL OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE DEVELOPMENT AND EXECUTION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES FROM AND AGAINST FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, LOSS, OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND INCURRED WITH RESPECT TO OR IN ANY WAY ARISING FROM THE AWARDING, RECEIPT, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE AND/OR WITH RESPECT TO OR IN ANY WAY ARISING FROM PARTICIPATION IN THIS PROMOTION OR ANY PRIZE RELATED ACTIVITY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, DAMAGE OR LOSS.
