We Have 20 Duck® Tape Colors!

Last Minute Touches

We’re getting to the end of our collection of prom clothes wisdom. So read closely, friend.

FeathersIf you’ve finished your outfit and the accessories, and you still feel like you need a little more…um…

Je ne sais quoi?

No, I don’t know what, but not that. Anyway, here are some last minute touches you can add to your duds.

Duck Tape Feathers
They’re not just for ducks anymore. It’s easy to make very cool feathers with a little metal covered in Duck Tape. And what would one do with Duck Tape feathers?

Or, if that’s too many feathers, you could make an elegant bust line or brooch.

Duck Tape Lace and Fringe
Who knew that something so strong has such a delicate side? People have made some amazing clothes using Duck Tape lace.

FringeAnd Duck Tape fringe is easy and very hip.

But don’t overdo it! Too much lace and you’ll look like grandma’s doily. And too much fringe and you’ll look like carwash.

The key to good taste is moderation.

Rhinestone and Jewels
It sure would be nice to look like Dolly Parton. But it’s tough to get the stones to stay on. You’re dancing, sitting, sliding into a limo, etc. You’re bound to lose anything you don’t sew on, or affix with some EXTREMELY strong glue made specifically for adhering to plastic or latex.

Last Minute Tips

Prom Practice
Take your suit or dress for a trial run before prom night. Dance, get into a car, sit down, go to the bathroom. Do everything you plan on doing prom night. That way, you won’t have any surprise blow-outs.

Too Stiff?
If your Duck Tape clothes won’t let you bend (to get in a limo, for example) just cut an opening where you need room and fill it with strips of Duck Tape.

Spare Tape!
We’ve probably told you this before, but bring an extra roll of Duck Tape with you in case you need to make repairs. If your clothes suddenly have more holes that you want them to, add more Duck Tape! You don’t want anyone to see your Duck Tape underwear.

And if you don’t want to carry a whole roll, score a carabineer from www.ducktapeclubstore.com, or wrap about 5 yards of tape around the end of a pen or pencil. It’s so easy but so important.
