Supplies You will need:

  • DuckŪ brand duct tape
  • Scissors
  • Ruler or measuring tape
  • Cutting board or protective surface
step1 Step 1: Choose your favorite color(s) of duct tape and create a fabric that measures 19 inches in length and 12 inches in height. (See placemat instructions, steps 2-9 for fabric instructions.)

Step 2: Create two duct tape fabrics that each measure 8½ inches in length and 3 inches in height. (See placemat instructions, steps 2-9 for fabric instructions.)
step3 Step 3: Place the two fabrics along the bottom of the 19” x 12” sheet side by side, with the longer end following the bottom edge of the larger piece of fabric. Be sure that the pockets are on the inside of the folder and at the bottom.
step4 Step 4: To attach the pockets to the folder, cut one piece of duct tape measuring 19 inches for the bottom of the folder. Stick half of the width of the tape to the bottom of both pockets – allow the other half to hang off the edge. Fold the remaining half of the tape onto the outside of the folder.

Step 5: Cut two additional pieces of duct tape each 3 inches long to attach the sides of the pockets to the folder. Follow the same steps for the edges as done for the bottom in step 4.
