HAVE DUCK TAPE®, WILL TRAVEL
Have you ever spent months planning a vacation, down to
every last detail, only to have it foiled by a hole in your
luggage or a tear in your radiator hose? Perhaps you've invested
countless hours into a business presentation that, at the
last minute, you were embarrassed to give because you ripped
the hem in the only business pants you packed. Unfortunately,
even well-seasoned travelers have had these experiences.
Travelers can quickly fix these frustrating situations and
be prepared for other unexpected circumstances by including
one simple item on their packing lists -- duct tape. For years,
duct tape has been known as the ultimate repair tool at home
and on the job. Now, no one should board a plane or leave
on a road trip without Duck Tape as a travel tool.
Some suggested travel uses of Duck brand duct tape include:
- Use X-Factor Duck Tape on luggage to ensure easy identification
at baggage claim.
- If you are traveling with others, mark each person's bag
with a different color of X-Factor Duck Tape. This will
make identification that much easier.
- Use Duck Tape to hide valuables (tape under hotel tables,
chairs, but don't forget).
- Use as a temporary clothesline in the hotel room.
- Tape together snorkeling supplies for each traveler.
- Tape tops of shampoo bottles and other bottled items to
prevent spills.
- Use Duck Tape and Duck® brand Bubble Wrap® to
keep breakables, like souvenirs, safe from damage.
- Reinforce luggage in worn areas.
- Tape items, such as shoes, to inside sides of luggage
to keep from moving around.
- Tape plastic bags shut that contain wet bathing suits,
etc.
- Seal coolers to prevent leakage from melting ice.
- Tape window curtains together to keep sun out of hotel
room.
- Temporarily repair tears and hems in clothes.
- Patch holes in rafts.
- Remove hair and lint easily from clothing.
- Wrap around a flashlight to keep for any emergencies.
- Keep extra buttons, safety pins, thread and needles secured
onto a piece of tape for ease of location.
- Secure and control cords of hair dryers/curling irons.
- Mark your beach umbrella with X-Factor Duck tape for ease
of spotting your location from far away.
- Keep shells inside of buckets, or tape shells together
for travel.
